MacTuneUp - Major Process
Posted by - NA - on 16 July 2009 09:57 AM
A major process is a process that requires a great deal of system resources, and therefore decreases the performance of your Mac while running. For that reason MacTuneUp allows only one major process to run at a time. During a major process, MacTuneUp cannot be closed, and you should not Force Quit the application if possible. Examples of major processes are the Maintenance Pilot, Trash and Backup.
